Heavy Metals are Bad in your Body
I wrote an article the other day on the recent Los Angeles fires and cadmium poisoning. Google implicated lead and arsenic but what I found was cadmium showing up. As I said I thought I would see lead but no, it has not appeared. Two people came in today one complaining of allergies and both of them showed cadmium stress. Allergies affect the lungs and sinuses, usually, and the person who was in Hollywood at the time of the fires so I checked for heavy metals and cadmium showed up. Cadmium tends to affect the lungs as we get cadmium poisoning from breathing it in.
Let’s talk about mercury which is probably the most common heavy metal source of toxicity. It is incredibly toxic in tiny amounts. The well known silver dental fillings of the twentieth century were actually about 50% mercury. Fortunately, the blending of mercury with silver and other metals made it pretty stable. You would tend to get more mercury toxicity from other sources of mercury. I invite any dentist educated in this to send me an email and I will reprint it in another article. Briefly I will say that organic sources of mercury are more toxic to humans than inorganic sources such as dental fillings.
For many years I was a member of the Sierra Club. Back in the days of John Muir the Sierra Club was more focused in protecting natural beauty. Muir worked with President Teddy Roosevelt in the early days of the development of preserving places like Yosemite Park and the giant sequoias from development. In the last 20 years or so the Club has come out against coal fired plants in the United States. Coal of course has been used to produce electricity and chunks of coal to provide home heating systems in the north and north east United States. My opinion on the use of coal is it is better to use coal than to freeze to death in winter. I learned from an article in the Sierra Club magazine that the the burning of coal releases mercury into the environment. This mercury is going to settle down into the soil and over the lakes and oceans resulting in more mercury in the environment.
Eating fish such as salmon or other up the food chain fish will tend to concentrate the mercury in these fish and then you eat it. Well this is not good but it is better than freezing to death in the winter. Further we have a supplement that will reduce your blood mercury levels by 95% in a month or so. There is an antidote to mercury toxicity and this is the best address to the mercury issue not condemning the use of coal burning. Since mercury stress can recur after a few years from eating fish or other foods you can get retested and go through a bottle of our supplement if it shows up. There are other benefits of this supplement including protecting the liver and cardiovascular function. Come in and see if you would benefit from this supplement and if you have a particular heavy metal stress showing up.
